How is this different from the Organizational Architecture engagement?
Organizational Architecture is a defined, project-based engagement: we work directly with your leadership team over a set period to design or rebuild your organizational structure, and you walk away with a documented Blueprint. Chief of Staff work is ongoing, embedded strategic execution: I become part of how your organization runs day to day, applying that same systems-level thinking to whatever priorities and friction points come up as you grow. Some clients start with Chief of Staff support and move into a full Architecture engagement once a larger structural rebuild becomes clear; others do the reverse, bringing in ongoing Chief of Staff support once the architecture is in place.
Does remote fractional support work effectively?
Yes. Most of a Chief of Staff’s work happens in documents, dashboards, and conversations, and all of that works remotely. I keep things moving through a consistent weekly rhythm, shared dashboards everyone can see, and clear written updates, so you always know where priorities stand. For the moments that benefit from being in the room, like a quarterly planning session or board meeting, I can come to you up to once per quarter. Travel is scheduled in advance and billed separately at cost.
